27th June Off to Aberdeen.

A very nice sunny morning and the sea very blue. Two couples in a near by tent kept talking until 1am and I thought Annette was going to get up and say good morning to them. Three young ladies and two children in another tent and they were up and down at the beach in the water before we left. Brave souls. View back towards Buckie.

Waiting for the bus. (Not allowed to go near the beach)

Reason being??????

On the bus and visited Fyvie Castle on the way Once a Royal Scottish Stronghold now owned by the SNT. There was an old car display. Trev, you would have loved it.

The castle was worth the visit and appeared to have been a comfortable home when last lived in. Much older on the inside than what it looks on the outside. (Opposite to me I'm told). Took a few hours to have a look around it all.

Off to Aberdeen. No maps of the town at the bus station. They must think everyone is leaving and from the view on the way into town I couldn't blame them. Got a photo copy from a gent at the train station ticket office, thank you. When we booked into the syha we were told by the girl that it was only about 20 minute walk away. Bull. Anyway once we started walking in Queens Road the buildings improved greatly. One thing I have notice is that I don't think that it is getting really dark at all at night.
