Today off to Dentdale. Tried to book some sort of accommodation but no credit left on phone. Most of the time it has no signal anyway. Checked out this old church on the way.
Rain off and one and pretty country.
Getting up and over one of the many, many fences in the rain.
Another old bridge.
Annette taking shelter in another old lime kiln. Nearly walked past her.
This is an old Maple tree. Now just look at the size of the trunk. How old must this be?
It was too wet and wild even for the sheep.
Crossed with a kangaroo?
This was a wild and wet section to cross. Between two farms we were forced to shelter behind stone walls four times. The going was very wet and hard with water running down the hill side.
Great views and a bit of dry track not far away.
Ah, a solid track.
Look at this old barn and probably house.
Found a caravan park of sorts. Just a paddock and a shower and toilet next to the farmer house. If we thought the last one was basic this topped it.
Camp site. Pretty enough but the midges drove us mad.
Showered and off to bed. Started to rain during the night and still raining in the morning.
