Just another house we spotted whilst leaving Grantown-on-Spey. Continued walking through pine forests but not the commercial type. These had really interesting undergrowth and looked pretty. Saw a roe deer just as we started, grazing in a paddock. Also saw a couple of red squirrels. They are quick to scamper half way up a tree before stopping to look at you.
It was a long days walk through different types of country.
Some farm land.
Some boggy rough sections.
Had an audience through this paddock.
Looked like a driveway of birch trees.
Old rail bridge at Ballindallock Station.
Decided to wild camp at a road stop with a disabled toilet. Rough but better than nothing and the way we walked in we were pretty disabled.
Tent quickly pitched, sponge down and off to bed next to the road. During the night a truck came past making a hell of a noise and I swear Annette was hanging off the roof of the of tent. Gave me a bit of a fright as well.
