Back into town and visited the Roman Baths. Very interesting and a must visit. Water looked a bit suss. We were later to discover the local canal water looked a similar colour.
Mark on the wall is the new old water line. The water level you see is the Roman water level. Clear?
Huge tree in a small court area.
After, Annette went off to visit the Jane Austen Centre and then the Fashion Museum and Assembly Rooms. Me, I retired to a pub with free WiFi and slaved at the blog. Then it was off to do a quick tour around the town on the tour bus and visit the garden at Prior Park. The Palladian Bridge features in ever garden book in the UK I think.
It was worth a look.
Back to the CBD and a few photos from the top of the bus. Not this one. I had to hang over the wall for this shot of the river.
Dinner in town then back to the caravan park on bus number 5. Tent city because of the holidays.
Greame....I'm impressed! You at a pub....typing your blog....... and ont one slurred or mis-spelled word.
